Hickory – Hickory’s Winter Farmers Market is back after a short holiday break this Saturday, January 2 at First Presbyterian Church, (237 2nd St NW, Hickory) from 10am – 1pm. This winter, we will be outdoors as much as weather permits! The winter market is ever Saturday from 10am – 1pm until April 10, 2021.

Please note, due to the spread of COVID-19, the Downtown Hickory Farmers’ Market is immediately adopting the following mission and rules. We want to continue to safely provide you healthy foods in a controlled environment. Please do not come if you feel sick. Please do not crowd the booths and respect the 6’ social distance from any other person at the market. Our healthy vendors will all be wearing masks and using hand sanitizer, and we ask that you do, too. There will be hand sanitizer available at each booth. We will continue the SNAP/EBT program.

As we all follow these precautions we will be able to keep the market open as a safe and healthy means of nourishment during this time.

Thank you for your cooperation in making our market a safe and healthy place to shop. We look forward to being back to a warm community gathering place again, soon.

Fields, folks & fun – that’s the Hickory Farmers Market! Visiting the Farmer’s Market lends an “all is right with the world” atmosphere of antique winds and modern laughter. Shake your Farmer’s hand, tap your feet to the music, taste our local Chefs’ market creations, and make old friends. It’s a soulful feeling and sense of belonging.
