Hickory – Full Circle Arts of Hickory would like to invite artists and the public to see its fun and always surprising “Tiny Art Show.” The show opens on May 3, 2018 for viewing by the public, but the reception will take place on Thursday evening May 17, 2018 from 5:30 – 8:00 pm in conjunction with the Hickory Art Crawl. Full Circle Arts will be the venue for the Kick-off Party for the spring Art Crawl. This will be the sixth year that FCA has sponsored the “Tiny Art Show” exhibition and it has been well-attended every year. It is one of our most popular shows and many local artists and artisans join us in offering their creations for viewing by the public. Each artist is allowed to submit 5 entries for inclusion in the exhibition so we generally have 80-100 works of art on display. Because they are so small, most of the works will be for sale to the public at very affordable prices. Come on in and see what we have to offer in the way of miniature works of original art to grace your homes and offices. A gift of tiny art is unique and makes a wonderful present to the person who has everything. Almost everyone has some place in their house to put one of these exceptional pieces. Art broadens the mind and feeds the soul so come get your dose of enlightenment and pleasure.

The judge for our show will be Judy Sigmon, “Art for All” Coordinator at the Hickory Museum of Art. We will be awarding beautiful handmade tiny ribbons for First through Third place winners as well as several Honorable Mentions the night of the reception.A total of 75 pieces of art will be on display from May 3, 2018 through June 2, 2018 at Full Circle Arts’ gallery 42-B Third Street NW, Hickory during regular hours, Wednesday – Friday 11am-5pm and Sat., 10am – 2pm.
