Hickory – In the spirit of Halloween, Lenoir-Rhyne University will present a special musical treat on Saturday, October 29th at 7:30 p.m. in P.E. Monroe Auditorium. Hallowe’en Plugged In offers a unique concert of improvisations and music, inspired by B-horror movies and creepy rock standards.
The concert of live electronic music will be performed by popular local musicians John Cheek, synthesizer, Rick Cline, percussion, and Michael Miller, guitar and vocals. They will be joined by special guest David Wechsler, multi-instrumentalist and virtuoso of the electronic wind controller.

Established in the fall of 2000, the Concert Series at Lenoir-Rhyne University serves the university community and the greater Hickory area by providing opportunities to hear and interact with superb musical artists. The Concert Series brings musical artists to the University to present concerts and recitals, work with students in the master class setting, lecture to music classes, and provide examples of professional artistry in music.
