Hickory – On January 6, 2017 at 7:00pm Exodus Ministries will host its 13th annual, free, “Giving Back” Gospel Concert at Exodus Missionary Outreach Church. The concert will feature the Exodus Missionary Outreach Church Gospel Choir under the direction of Min. of Music Zachary Martin, Prodigal Sons and Daughters founded by Min. of Music James Franklin will also perform, and Foothills Performing Arts Group will be there as an opening act.
This concert is given as a way of “giving back” to the community in appreciation for the support Exodus Ministries has received in 2016 at Exodus Homes, Exodus Church, and Catawba Prison Ministries. “We want people to know how much we appreciate their support and prayers for our ministries. Our music is the best gift we can share with them,” said the Rev. Reggie Longcrier who is the pastor of Exodus Missionary Outreach Church, executive director of Exodus Homes, and Chaplain of Catawba Correctional Center. It is a lively event with foot-stomping, hand-clapping, get-up-and-dance gospel music that inspires the spirit and moves the heart in praise for all that God has done.
This event has become a tradition in our community and the holidays are not officially over until the Exodus “Giving Back” Gospel Concert!
The event is free and open to the public. Following the concert will be a time of light refreshments and fellowship for all who attend. For more information, please contact the Rev. Susan Walker at 828-962-8196 or email@example.com
