Hickory – Hickory Police Department’s continued traffic enforcement operation “P.A.C.T. – Pay Attention in City Traffic” will be focused on Hwy 70 SE from 4th Street Drive SW to 2nd Street SW and on South Center Street from 2nd Ave SW to Hwy 70 SW during the month of July. 
Enforcement focus will continue to include: red light violations, following too close, distracted driving and speeding.
As always, citizens are encouraged to be vigilant and observe all traffic laws, avoid utilizing mobile and digital devices and maintain driving awareness while operating a motor vehicle.
