Old Colony Players Announce Summer Camps In July & August

Valdese, NC – Summer Drama Camps at the Old Rock School, 400 Main Street West, Valdese, NC, begin Monday, July 16.

The classes are: Session 1, Awkward to Awesome, July 16-20, 1:30-4:30pm. This is for ages 9-16. Learn how to become more comfortable in your own skin on stage by learning techniques on how to move with confidence.

Taught by Sonya Briggs. Cost is $75. Limit of 20 students per class.

Session 2, Fractured Fairy Tales and Other Fables, August 6-10, 10am – Noon.

This is for ages 4-10. Explore a world of fantasy as we explore fairy tales from the perspective of “the other side.”
Children will learn how to develop a character, understand story lines and have a great time “playing” while doing it.

Taught by Dallas McKinney and Cassidy Pruitt. Cost is $50. Limit of 20 students per class.
